Journalist, worked for newspapers such as "Wiener Allgemeine Zeitung", "Neues Wiener Tagblatt" and "Mittag"; headed the local news section of the "Presse" newspaper, of which he was editor-in-chief from 1953-1961; 1961-1970 Austrian press and cultural attaché in Bonn; 1970-1977 editor of "Wochenpresse".
