Döllach im Mölltal, Carinthia, village in the district of Spittal an der Drau, alt. 1,013 m, small tourist resort on the Großglockner-Hochalpenstraße mountain road, part of the municipality of Großkirchheim (67,030 overnight stays). - Denominational home economics school; Nationalpark Hohe Tauern administrative authority; saw mill. - In the Middle Ages centre of gold and silver mining in the Hohe Tauern mountains. Late Gothic / Baroque St Andreas church (1536), Großkirchheim Castle (first documented mention 1140, rebuilt 1561) with museum of gold mining and museum of local history and culture; close by lies the Zirknitz grotto with the "9 Brunnen" waterfalls, 60 m high.
