Dité, Louis, b. Vienna, March 26, 1891, d. Vienna, Nov. 18, 1969. Organist, composer and specialist in music education; 1917 member of the Court orchestra; 1933 teacher at the Academy; awarded Austrian State Prize for Composition.


Works: Organ, piano, choir and chamber music; masses, symphonies, many lieder and choral works. - Ed. of "Meisterwerke kirchl. Tonkunst", 1946ff.
