Dietmar von Aist, minnesinger in the area of the Herren von Aist (Upper Austria); Ditmarus de Agasta (d. around 1171), mentioned in documents from 1139 onwards, is not identical with the poet; a representative of early Minnesong in the Danube region; he wrote the first German Tagelied (song about the parting of lovers in the morning).
