Dasch, MaximilianDasch, Maximilian, b. Mondsee (Upper Austria), Sept. 13, 1903, d. Salzburg, Sept. 22, 1977. 1937/1938 head of the "Zaunrithsche Buchdruckerei" press (from 1939 called "Salzburger Druckerei und Verlag" - Salzburg Press and Publishing House); 1937 head of "Salzburger Preßverein" printers' association. Together with G. A. Canaval, D. was licensee, founder and manager of "Salzburger Nachrichten" newspaper and its publisher from Oct. 23, 1945 until his death.
