Painter, student at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts from 1899 to 1907, teacher at the Academy from 1927 to 1945. Works: Various postage stamp series (incl. Nibelungen, Inventors, Stille Nacht, J. Strauß); portraits (J. Wagner-Jauregg, V. Kaplan); 10 stained glass windows and altarpiece in the Ried hospital chapel, 1928; Literature: W. D., Gemälde u. Briefmarken, 1963.
