BuchauBuchau Valley, upper Styria, alt. 850 m, hollow between the Haller Mauer Mountains and the Großer and Kleiner Buchstein Mountains in the Ennstal Alps; Grabner alp (1,550 m) above the Buchau saddle. The road from the middle (Admont) to the lower Enns Valley (St. Gallen, Altenmarkt) which bypasses the Gesäuse gorge and cuts off the sharp bend of the River Enns at Hieflau passes through the Buchau area.
