Bondy, Ottilie geborene JeittelesBondy, Ottilie (née Jeitteles), b. Brno, Czech Republic (then Brünn), July 26, 1832, d. Munich (Germany), Dec. 5, 1921, pioneer of women´s liberation in Austria, founder and 1879-1909 head of the Association of Housewives in Vienna which ran an employment agency for domestic servants and a school for cooking and housekeeping, which also had a restaurant. Representative of the Vienna Association of Nursery Schools at the 1893 world fair in Chicago, 1909 moved to Munich. Literature: ÖBL.
