Bleibtreu, Amalie geborene HyblBleibtreu, Amalie (née Hybl), b. Opava, Czech Republic (then Troppau), Jan. 2, 1835, d. Vienna, Aug. 26, 1917, actress; wife of Sigmund Bleibtreu and mother of Hedwig Bleibtreu and Maximiliane Bleibtreu. Initially employed at provincial theatres in Austria-Hungary, then until 1890 at the Theater an der Wien and at the Theater in der Josefstadt.
