Blaser

Blaser Mountain, in the Tyrol, alt. 2,241 m, part of the Stubai Alps near Matrei am Brenner; just below its peak (at 2,195 m), A. Kerner laid out the first alpine garden worldwide in 1875 (closed down in 1898), which became the model for other alpine gardens, such as that on Montblanc.
