Bisinger, GeraldBisinger, Gerald, b. Vienna, June 8, 1936, d. Vienna, Feb. 20, 1999. Author, also radio editor and translator (translated the works of H. C. Artmann into Italian). Lived in Berlin for many years, returned to Austria in 1986. Because of his laconic poetry and his uncompromising rejection of prose he became known as "Austria´s last poet".
