BerufsreifeprüfungBerufsreifeprüfung (exam for university admission). Like the Begabtenprüfung (exam for the gifted) which was introduced in 1938, this exam was designed to enable persons over 25 years with practical job experience or who have pursued extensive studies in a certain field to enter university. It was introduced in 1945, but on account of its moderate success was replaced in 1985 by the Studienberechtigungsprüfung.
