Berndl, Florian, b. Großhaselbach (Lower Austria), May 10, 1858, d. Vienna, Nov. 30, 1934, naturopath, promoted a natural way of life and lived in a hut on Bisamberg near Vienna; established the bathing area at the Gänsehäufel on the River Danube (in his day jokingly named "B.-Colony").
