Békessy, Imre EmmerichBékessy, Imre (Emmerich), b. Budapest (Hungary), Nov. 13, 1887, d. Budapest (Hungary), before March 17, 1951. Publisher and journalist; father of H. Habe. Worked in Budapest and Vienna, from 1923 publisher of the daily newspaper "Die Stunde", as well as several magazines. Under attack from K. Kraus, from the magazine "Der österreichische Volkswirt" and from the "Arbeiterzeitung" newspaper, in addition to having been charged with blackmail, he fled Vienna in 1926.
