Bau Holding STRABAG AG, the parent company (quoted at the stock exchange) of Austria´s biggest construction group, STRABAG Bau Holding AG, that is active in all branches of the building industry, headquarters in Spittal an der Drau (Carinthia). The most important company in the group Strabag GmbH, which integrated the firms ILBAU Ges. m. b. H., F. Lang und K. Menhofer Bauges. m. b. H. & Co. KG, ERA-Bau AG, STRABAG Österreich AG and STUAG Bau-AG. The Bau Holding STRABAG AG increased activity in recent years in Eastern Europe and Asia. Along with its affiliated company STRABAG AG, Cologne, and their holding company BIBAG (Bauindustrie-, Beteiligungs- und Verwaltungs-AG), it has created Europe's sixth largest building group, with approx. 30, 000 employees and a turnover of ATS 70 bn.
