Arnstein, Baroness Franziska (Fanny) von, b. Berlin (Germany), Nov. 29, 1758, d. Vienna, June 8, 1818, philanthropist, her salon was a meeting place for intellectuals and society, especially at the time of the Vienna Congress. Co-founder of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna.
