Anzinger, SiegfriedAnzinger, Siegfried, b. Weyer (Upper Austria), Feb. 25, 1953, painter, graphic artist and sculptor. Has lived in Cologne since 1982. Paints impulsively, following M. Melcher, his professor at the Academy, tending towards abstract expressionism and the informal style of the 1950s. 1988 represented Austria in the Venice Biennale. Since 1997 professor of painting at the Kunstakademie (Academy of Art) in Düsseldorf Literature: D. Koepplin, catalogue Biennale Venice, Klagenfurt 1988; W. Drechsler (ed.), S.
