Initially on the German stage and in films, then at various theatres in Vienna; since 1949 member of the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna. Roles include light comedy, classic plays and musicals; film and television work. In 1970 was awarded the Josef Kainz Medal. Literature: G. H. Steier, Kammerschauspielerin S. v.
