Akademische Druck- u. Verlagsanstalt Graz (Academic Printing and Publishing House in Graz, abbreviated ADEVA), founded in 1949 in Graz with the goal of producing facsimile editions of precious books which were damaged in World War II; began producing the edition series "Codices selecti" in 1960, in which 103 editions appeared (1960-1996), making it the world's largest series of facsimile editions. In addition, approximately 2,000 titles are published in ADEVA's art, science and culture selection (picture books, specialty books, encyclopaedias, music, reprints, periodicals, etc.).
