Church to the 14 auxiliary saints, Vienna, 9th district, Marktgasse 40. In this church Franz Peter Schubert - as his full name ran - was baptised on Feb.1st, 1797. In this church where his musical career began as a singer, violinist and organist, Schubert also conducted his first work to be performed in public: the F major Mass, which he had composed on the occasion of the church centenary. A memorial plaque on the outside of the church reminds of Schubert's baptism and his musical activities.
