Orth is a small market village east of Vienna, in the Marchfeld. Karl Schiske, born in the Hungarian town of Raab (present name: Györ) 1916, spent his primary school years there. The house, in the centre of Orth next to the parish church and the castle, is still inhabited by members of the family.
