Time of composition: 1938/39

Duration of performance: c.19 minutes

First performance: Nov. 26th, 1939 at the Vienna Konzerthaus, by Anton Konrath and the Vienna Symphoniker, with Dr.Hans Weber, his piano teacher, as soloist. The first perfomance was an overwhelming success, the work has been performed frequently since then.

Record: by the Austrian Musikrat, Amadeo 5067, Lower Austrian Tonkünstlerorchester, conductor: Karl Etti, soloist: Hans Petermandl.

Style: Neo-classicism of the 20th century.
