Journey to Vienna-Schönbrunn
In 1762 Father Leopold Mozart travelled with his two children Anna and Wolfgang to Vienna where they
also played music before Empress Maria Theresia (cf. "Österreich-Lexikon") . For the father this was a kind of pilot project. He tested
the effect of his children on the public, already planning later big European tours. Mozart spent one third
of his life on tours. In spite of the inconveniences of coaches Mozart enjoyed travelling.
