Residence of Johann Strauß
1020 Vienna, Praterstraße 54
This is the house where Johann Strauß lived while composing the waltz "An der schönen blauen Donau" (Blue Danube Waltz), op.314. Today there is a Strauß Museum in this apartment. Visitors take the U 1 to Nestroyplatz and it is just a few steps to the house.
A memorial plaque has been put up there.
