Haydn Mausoleum in the Hill Church of Eisenstadt

Haydn’s remains were placed in a sarcophagus of light marble. Haydn’s skull was only transferred to Eisenstadt in 1954, where his body now rests in the Hill Church. The mausoleum was erected by Prince Paul Esterházy in 1932.
