Schönberg's children

From his first marriage:
Gertrude, born 1902
Georg, born 1906

From his second marriage:
Nuria, born 1933, studied biology, married to the composer Luigi Nono
Ronald, born 1937, became a judge
Lawrence, born 1941, became a mathematics teacher

None of the children pursued their father's artistic career. As children they all learnt to play an instrument, but none of them achieved any higher standard. The father's dream that his children would play in a trio was not fulfilled.
