Showroom in Schönberg's house
In the former rooms of the composer there is an exhibition about Schönberg's life and work with pictures, charts, glasscases, video and CD stations as well as original instruments belonging to Schönberg. An Imbach pianoforte is on view, which stood in Mödling between 1918 and 1925, was later on in Berlin and accompanied Schönberg to the USA. In 1974 Schönberg's family returned the instrument to Mödling as a present. The string instruments in the glasscases were used in the private concerts with friends. The trunk next to the piano accompanied Schönberg on his concert tours and also to his exile in the USA.
