Memorial tablet on Schönberg's birthplace
To the left of the entrance a memorial tablet reminds of Schönberg's birth. He had no idea that the Nazi leaders would once force him to emigrate to America. In his exile he would be in close contact with illustrious contemporaries like Albert Einstein, Charlie Chaplin, Franz Werfel, Alma Mahler or George Gershwin.
