Othmar Steinbauer
Othmar Steinbauer (cf. "Österreich-Lexikon")
was for a short time Hauer's pupil (1930); to him Hauer dedicated his divertimento for chamber orchestra. Steinbauer, vice versa, dedicated his own chamber concerto op.1 - with the same orchestration - to J. M. Hauer (Sept.18, 1930).
This work became the starting-point for Steinbauer's serial music.
