Hauer's portrait
Hauer's face changed considerably in course of time. It was a long artistic way from the elementary school teacher at Krumbach to the world-famous composer, who was, however, only rarely performed. In his old age his beard was characteristic. The picture shows Hauer in his young and in his old days.
