Wedl, Karl, b. Vienna, Oct. 14, 1815, d. Vienna, Sept. 21, 1891. Anatomist, histologist. At first physician at Bad Ischl and Salzburg, then university professor in Vienna. Bequeathed his estate to the Academy of Sciences.
