Sonnleithner, Ignaz von, b. Vienna, July 30, 1770, d. Vienna, Nov. 27, 1831, scientist. Son of Christoph Sonnleithner., father of Leopold Sonnleithner; music patron; active member of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien; 1815-1824 ran a music salon, where many F. Schubert songs were premiered.
