Schönburg-Hartenstein, Prince Alois, b. Karlsruhe (Germany), Nov. 21, 1858, d. Hartenstein (Germany), Sept. 21, 1944. Officer (Colonel General). Commander of several corps in the First World War, at the end commander of the 6th army in Northern Italy, Sept. 21, 1933 - March 12, 1934 Staatssekretär, March 12, 1934 - July 10, 1934 Federal Minister of Defence under E. Dollfuß.
