Rauch, Andreas, b. Pottendorf (Lower Austria), 1592, d. Sopron, Hungary (then Ödenburg), 1656, composer, organist of the Protestant Estates of Lower Austria and Vienna (Hernals 1621-1625, Inzersdorf 1627), from 1629 in Ödenburg.


Works: Symbolum ..., 1621; Thymiaterium musicale, d. i. musical. Rauchfäßlein, 1625; Musicalisches Stammbüchlein, 1627; Currus triumphalis, 1648; Neues Thymiaterium, 1651.
