Třeboń, Czech Republic (then Wittingau, Dec. 16, 1816. Patron of music, in particular of L. van Beethoven, who conducted his 3rd symphony in a private première for the Prince (Eroica Hall in the palace of the Lobkowitz family) in 1804. L was a founding member of the Vienna Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in 1812 and in 1805 had "The Creation" by J. Haydn performed in the Czech language at Raudnitz. Literature: ÖBL; NDB.
