Hoboken, Anthony vanHoboken, Anthony van, b. Rotterdam (Netherlands), March 23, 1887, d. Zurich (Switzerland), Nov. 1, 1983, music collector. 1925-1934 studied under H. Schenker in Vienna; in 1927 founded the archive of photogrammes of music handwritten by great masters in the music collection of the National Library in Vienna; for more than 30 years elaborated a bibliographical and thematic list of works of J.
