Gatscha, Anton, b. Langendorf (Bohemia), March 21, 1883, d. Vienna, Oct. 6, 1922 composer. From 1897 in Vienna, teacher, studied under R. Fuchs and G. Adler; compositions in late Romanticist and early expressionist style.


Works: songs, choral music ("Bauernaufstand", "Prometheus", "Stimmen der Nacht"), chamber music and orchestral music.
