Battisti, Cesare, b. Trento (Italy), Feb. 4, 1875, d. Trento (Italy), July 13, 1916, politician. 1911-1914 member of the Austrian Reichsrat; fled to Italy at the outbreak of World War I; as officer in the Italian army captured by the Austrians and executed for high treason.
